Future Development

The presented stage of the new study platform shows only the up-to-date basic features, such as structured study presentation and comparison as well as guideline involvement, only for the performed indication of acute coronary syndrome and the investigated substance group of GPIIb/IIIa antagonists.

For the future we have defined the target to involve all major cardiovascular indication in this study platform at least introducing all clinical trails on the upper levels of evidence.

The key feature of the next development stage will be a search system which enables the user to project the available evidences to his individual patient situation by selecting study and patient parameters. The system will provide those trial data which are available for the required patient situation. This offers the facility not only to find trail data in general for patient collectives but also for individual situations by answerable questions asked to the system.

Additional services such as information on application details for investigated drugs and interventions in the described indications will complete the system which will provide in its final stage a seamless combination of evidence based medicine and disease management broken down as far as possible to each patient.
